Three Interpret staff members presented their work at the recent Esri User Conference held in Auckland 24 to 26 August 2015. Helen presented ‘Smarter Water Allocation in Northland', Dale presented ‘Modelling vehicle speed, curvature and road risk with GIS' and Jana presented ‘Fulton Hogen Mobile App: Mobilising a Remote Workforce’.

The conference was a great success for Interpret with Kurt being re-elected NZ Esri User Group President for another year. In addition Jana won the ‘Excellence in GIS’ poster competition with a prize to the San Diego Esri User Conference 2016. Dale (pictured) won the StoryMap competition with her entry ‘Myths and Mysteries of NZ’ and Natalie came second with ‘Ark Catalog’.

The winner from the Interpret GeoCred Map Quiz was Keith Miller who won a drone. Second place went to Anthea Fiolitakis who is interning at Interpret doing some work for GIS in conservation. Interpret business partner, 3-GIS (from the USA), also attended the Interpret booth during the conference.  It was a pleasure having Tommy and his wife Brenda in attendance to talk about 3-GIS and how it can benefit our clients.
