About you

You will be focused on providing excellent quality deliverables and be a team player able to both support more senior staff and lead junior staff. You will be inquisitive and seek out innovative solutions. You will be hungry to make a difference and have a confident and engaging personality.

Your role

With more growth coming our way, we have a huge year ahead and it truly cannot be done without a rockstar in this role.  You will work on exciting projects and work with our wider spatial team undertaking a variety of geospatial work within a number of industries.

You will generally have the following attributes:

  • good written and oral communication skills
  • excellent problem solving, analytical and decision making skills
  • be highly adaptable and a fast learner
  • an appreciation of the broader context of your work within the wider client organisation
  • an understanding of geospatial industry
  • a good eye for detail
  • have a positive attitude with an enthusiastic and energetic nature

You will generally have had the following skills and experiences:

  • An understanding and expertise in all phases of software development life cycle
  • Relational database design and management skills
  • Development skills with some or all of the following: Python, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, SQL, and .NET.
  • IIS and Azure hosting environments
  • Proven skills in some of the following Esri software products: ArcGIS Desktop, Modelbuilder, ArcGIS Server, APIs/SDKs, and spatial databases
  • Experience working with clients either in a consulting role or an organisation with significant external or internal stakeholders
  • Domain experience in industries such as telecommunications, transportation, property and electricity is

You will probably have the following knowledge:

A degree, postgraduate or masters qualification in computer science or a specialist geospatial qualification.
